Saltibus is a village located on the southwestern side of the island of Saint Lucia. It is situated approximately 27 km south of the national capital, Castries. Geographically, it lies northeast of the village of Choiseul and northwest of the village of Laborie.
The area is characterized by its rainforest environment, which features rich fertile soil and a variety of water sources, including many rivers, cold springs, and fresh streams. Saltibus is notable for a series of waterfalls ranging from 3 to 10 meters in height and houses the main water dam that supplies water to the local community and several neighboring areas.
The economy of Saltibus is primarily based on agriculture. The region produces various tropical goods, most notably bananas and cocoa.
