Arsal is a town and municipality located in the Baalbek District of the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate in eastern Lebanon. It is situated east of Labweh and lies approximately 124 kilometres (77 miles) northeast of the capital city, Beirut.
The town is characterized by a population that is predominantly Sunni Muslim. It serves as a local municipality within the rural landscape of the governorate.
