Zgharta, also spelled Zghorta, is a city located in North Lebanon. It serves as the seat of the Zgharta-Ehden municipality and has an estimated population of approximately 50,000 residents.
The city is recognized as the second largest urban center in Northern Lebanon, following Tripoli. It remains a significant regional hub within the northern province.
