Bsharri is a town located in the North Governorate of Lebanon within the district of the same name. It is situated at high altitudes ranging between 1,100 meters (3,600 feet) and 3,088 meters (10,131 feet).
The town is home to the Cedars of God, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that serves as the only remaining location where the Cedrus libani tree grows natively. Additionally, Bsharri is recognized as the birthplace of the renowned poet, painter, and sculptor Khalil Gibran, and features a museum dedicated to his life and work.
