Sidon

Sidon, also known as Saida, is the third-largest city in Lebanon. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast and serves as the capital of the South Governorate. The city is located approximately 40 kilometres south of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, and north of Tyre.

The population within the city limits of Sidon is roughly 80,000 people. However, its broader metropolitan area is significantly larger, housing more than a quarter-million inhabitants.
