Jezzine is a municipality located in Lebanon, situated approximately 22 km from Sidon and 40 km south of Beirut. It serves as the capital of the Jezzine District.
The town is characterized by its high-altitude setting at an average of 950 m (3,117 ft), where it is surrounded by pine forests and mountain peaks. Due to these geographic features, it serves as a primary summer resort and tourist destination for South Lebanon. Additionally, the town is recognized for housing the shrine of Our Lady of the Waterfall.
