Jounieh

Jounieh is a coastal city located in the Keserwan District of Lebanon. It is situated approximately 16 km (10 mi) north of the capital, Beirut. Since 2017, the city has served as the administrative capital of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate.

The city is recognized for its seaside resorts and active nightlife. Notable landmarks and attractions include an old stone souk, a ferry port, and a paragliding site. Additionally, Jounieh features a gondola lift that transports passengers up the mountain to the shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa.
