Alga is a town located in the Aktobe Region of western Kazakhstan. It is situated on the western bank of the Ilek (Jelek) River and lies along the railway line connecting the cities of Aktobe and Aralsk.
The population of the town is recorded as being between 15,372 and 19,705 residents.
