Shchuchinsk is a city situated in northern-central Kazakhstan. It is located approximately 75 kilometres south-east of Kokshetau on the shores of Lake Shchuchye.
The city serves as the administrative seat of the Burabay District within the Akmola Region. It is primarily recognized as a central hub for a large agricultural area in the region.
