Atbasar is a town located in the Atbasar District of the Akmola Region in northern Kazakhstan. Founded in 1845, it currently ranks as the 44th largest city in the country.
The town is situated at an altitude of 282 meters above sea level. It serves as a regional center within its namesake district.
