Suncheon is a city located in the Jeollanam-do region of South Korea. It serves as the largest city within the Jeonnam-Gwangju area, with a recorded population of 280,719 as of 2022. Situated in the southeast portion of the province, the city is characterized by its status as both an agricultural and industrial hub.
