Mokpo

Mokpo is a city located in Jeonnam-Gwangju, South Korea. It is situated at the southwestern tip of the Korean Peninsula, positioned near the mountain known as Yudalsan.

The city serves as a transportation hub with frequent high-speed train services to Seoul and acts as the terminus for various ferry routes serving islands in the adjacent Yellow Sea and Dadohae National Maritime Park. The surrounding geography includes Yudalsan Mountain to the southwest, which is characterized by unique cliff formations resembling walls.

The region near Mokpo features a variety of islands, consisting of six populated and five uninhabited landmasses.
