Gwangyang is a city located in the Jeollanam-do province of South Korea. It serves as an industrial hub, most notably housing the Gwangyang Steel Works owned by POSCO. This facility is recognized as the largest steel works of its kind in the world.
In addition to its industrial significance, the city is home to the K League Classic football club, the Jeonnam Dragons.
