Geumjeong District is a district located in north central Busan, South Korea. It currently houses approximately 7.3% of the city's total population.
The geography of the district is defined by significant natural features, including the mountain Geumjeongsan to the west and the Hoedong Reservoir on its eastern boundary. Due to these landmarks, roughly 75% of the district's land is restricted from residential development. The majority of the population lives in the valley of the Oncheoncheon stream, which serves as a tributary of the Suyeonggang.
