Pohang is a city located in South Korea and serves as the largest city in North Gyeongsang Province. As of 2022, it has a population of 499,363 residents.
The city is situated along the East Sea to its east and shares borders with several other regions: Yeongcheon to the west, Gyeongju to the south, and Cheongsong and Yeongdeok County to the north.
