Heunghae is a town, or eup, situated in the Buk-gu district of Pohang within South Korea's North Gyeongsang Province. The administrative center for the area is the Heunghae Town Office, which is located in Okseong-ri.
The township originally existed as Uichang-myeon before undergoing several administrative changes. It was upgraded to the town of Uichang-eup in 1980 and was subsequently renamed Heunghae-eup in 1983.
