Guryongpo is a town, or eup, located in Nam-gu, Pohang, within the North Gyeongsang Province of South Korea. The area was originally known as Changju-myeon before it was officially upgraded to the status of Guryongpo-eup in 1942.
The administrative center for the town is situated at the Guryongpo Town Office, which is located in Hudong-ri. The region is known for its local culinary traditions, specifically the production of gwamegi, which is a type of partially dried fish served as a regional specialty.
