Hwaseong is a city located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is situated along the coast of the Yellow Sea.
The city is notable for having the largest area of farmland among all cities and counties within Gyeonggi Province. Public transportation infrastructure includes the Seoul Subway Line 1, which stops at Byeongjeom Station, and the Suin-Bundang Line, which serves Eocheon Station.
