Gwangmyeong is a city located in the Gyeonggi Province of South Korea. It is situated in a strategic geographic position bordering several major areas, including Seoul to the east, north, and northeast; Anyang to the southeast; Siheung to the southwest; and Bucheon to the northwest.
The city is notable for hosting several large-scale commercial retail destinations. These include one of the world's largest IKEA stores, which covers 59,000 square meters, as well as a large Costco store and a Lotte Premium Outlet.
