Jumunjin

Jumunjin is an eup (town) located in northeastern Gangneung City, South Korea. The area has a population of approximately 20,600 people residing in about 7,000 households.

The region is characterized by its primary industries of agriculture and fisheries, which involve roughly 10% of the local population respectively. Approximately 9.7 of Jumunjin's 60.55 kilometers of land are dedicated to agricultural use.

Jumunjin serves as the site for Jumunjin Harbor, a significant fishing port situated on the Sea of Japan. The harbor currently hosts a fleet of 394 fishing vessels.
