Haksan is a city located in South Korea.
While there is a publishing company named Haksan Publishing Co., Ltd. based in Seoul, it is distinct from the geographic location of Haksan. The company was established in 1995 as a subsidiary of Daewon Media and specializes in the publication of domestic and imported comics, including manga and manhwa, as well as light novels.
In 2018, Haksan Publishing, in conjunction with Seoul Media Comics and Daewon C.I., accounted for approximately 49 percent of the print comic book market within South Korea.
