Imsil County is an administrative district located in central North Jeolla Province, South Korea. The county office is situated in Imsil-eup, which serves as the primary administrative center for a region composed of 11 myeon and one eup.
Geographically, the area is characterized by its location upstream of the Seomjingang River within the Noryeongsan Mountains. The landscape features a basin that extends southeast toward Namwon.
