Chunggang

North Korea

Chunggang County is a kun located in northern Chagang Province, North Korea. While it is currently situated within Chagang Province, historical records indicate that it was originally part of Huchang County in Ryanggang Province.

The county seat was formerly known as Chunggangjin but has since been renamed Chunggang ŭp. Geographically, the region borders Ryanggang Province to the south and faces across the Yalu River toward China.
