Moung Ruessei is a small town located in central-western Cambodia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Moung Ruessei District within Battambang Province.
The town is accessible via two primary roads: National Highway 5, which connects it to Svay Don Kêv several kilometres to the east, and Highway 149, which links it to Phumi Sakor in the north.
