Svay Theab District is a district located in the Svay Rieng Province of Cambodia. Its name translates literally to "The Short mango." The district is administratively subdivided into 11 khums and 86 phums.
According to the 1998 census, the district had a population of 59,650 people. The majority of the local residents work as farmers, though many villagers send their teenage children to work in factories located in Phnom Penh.
