Snuol is a district located in the Kratié province of Cambodia. According to census data, the population grew from 35,156 in 1998 to 61,603 by 2008.
The area was historically significant as the site of a major battle during the Vietnam War while occurring within the context of the Cambodian Civil War. Additionally, the district formerly contained the Snuol Wildlife Sanctuary, which served as a protected area until it was degazetted in 2018 following extensive deforestation.
