Atana is a city located in Kyrgyzstan.
The name Atana is also associated with a raga in Carnatic music known as Athana or Adana. This Janya raga is derived from the 29th Melakarta raga, Sankarabharanam, which is commonly referred to as Dhirasankarabharanam in the Melakarta system. It should not be confused with a separate Hindusthani raaga of the same name.
