Daroot-Korgon is a village located in the western Alay Valley within the Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan. It serves as the administrative capital of the Chong-Alay District and has a recorded population of 6,421 as of 2021.
The settlement is situated approximately 90 km west of Sary-Tash along the Kyzyl-Suu River. Historically, a route to the north leads toward Osh via the Tengizbay pass, which was utilized by Russian explorers prior to the construction of the modern road through Sary-Tash.
