Cholpon-Ata is a resort town located on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. It serves as the administrative center for the Issyk-Kul District within the Issyk-Kul Region, an area that encompasses the majority of the lake's northern coastline.
As of 2021, the town has a population of 14,237. Geographically, it is situated along highway A363, with the village of Tamchy located to its west and Bosteri situated to its east.
