Tokmok

Kyrgyzstan

Tokmok is a city located in the Chüy Valley in northern Kyrgyzstan. It is situated at an elevation of 816 meters above sea level, positioned east of the national capital, Bishkek. The city lies just south of the Chu River and near the international border with Kazakhstan.

As of 2021, Tokmok had a population of 71,443 residents. Historically, the city served as the administrative seat of the Chüy Region from 2003 to 2006.
