Kemin

Kyrgyzstan

Kemin is a city located in northeastern Kyrgyzstan. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Kemin District within the Chüy Region. The city is situated in the Chüy Valley on the left bank of the Chüy River, approximately 95 km eastward from the capital city of Bishkek.

Established in 1912, Kemin officially received city status in 2012. As of 2021, the city had a recorded population of 10,354 residents.
