Waita is a city located in Kenya. It was situated within the Eastern Province, which was one of the eight provinces that formerly constituted the country.
The Eastern Province shared a northern boundary with Ethiopia and was bordered by the North Eastern Province to the east and the Coast Province to the south. The remaining Kenyan provinces, including Central Province, were located along its western border. Embu served as the provincial capital of this region.
