Gilgil is a town situated in the Nakuru County region of Kenya. It is geographically positioned between the towns of Naivasha and Nakuru along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
The town is located to the west of the Gilgil River, which flows southward to feed Lake Naivasha.
