Migori, also known as Suna-Migori, is a multi-ethnic municipal town located in Kenya. It serves as the capital of Migori County and is situated approximately 63 kilometers south of Kisii town and 22 kilometers north of the Tanzanian border.

The Migori Metropolitan area comprises the municipality itself along with several adjacent smaller towns. The region encompasses eight constituencies: Rongo, Awendo, Suna East, Suna West, Uriri, Nyatike, Kuria East, and Kuria West. According to the 2019 Kenya National Bureau of Statistics-sponsored national census, the total population of these areas was 393,012.

Historical population data indicates that the town had a population of approximately 100,000 people in 2010. Within the metropolitan area, specific constituency populations include 96,872 for Awendo and 117,290 for Kuria East (Sirare).
