Nanyuki is a market town situated in the Laikipia County region of Kenya. It is geographically positioned northwest of Mount Kenya and serves as a key transit point along the A2 road. The town also marks the terminus of the branch railway originating from Nairobi.
The name Nanyuki is derived from the Maasai word "Enyaanyukie," which translates to "resemblance."
