Kiambu is a town located in the Kiambu County region of Kenya. It serves as the administrative capital of Kiambu County, which borders the northern side of the national capital, Nairobi.
The town is situated approximately 14 km (8.7 mi) from Nairobi. It is surrounded by several other proximate towns, including Ruiru, Gatundu, Limuru, and Kabete.
