Kiserian is a town located in the Kajiado County region of Kenya's Rift Valley Province. It is situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills along Magadi Road, positioned adjacent to the Kiserian dam. The town sits on the boundary between the Kajiado North and Kajiado West constituencies and is bordered by the towns of Ongata Rongai, Ngong Town, Enoomatasiani Town, and Kisamis Town.
The area is home to a well-known Maasai community, including small villages such as Olteyani and Olooseos. In the Maasai language, the name Kiserian translates to "a place of peace." The town provides various social amenities, including several primary and secondary schools as well as a few higher education institutions.
