Yūrakuchō is a prominent business district located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is situated between the Ginza district and Hibiya Park, positioned southeast of the Tokyo Imperial Palace.
The district derives its name from Oda Nagamasu (1547–1622), who was also known as Yūraku. Historically, Oda Nagamasu constructed his mansion on land granted by Tokugawa Ieyasu near the Sukiya-bashi Gate of Edo Castle. While the location has historical roots, the specific place name dates back to the Meiji period.
