Yotsuya is an area located in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo, Japan. It historically functioned as its own independent ward within the now-defunct Tokyo City.
The current boundaries of Yotsuya were established in 1947 during a reorganization of the city's administrative structure. At that time, it was merged with Ushigome ward of Tokyo City and Yodobashi suburban ward of Tokyo-fu to form the modern Shinjuku ward.
