Nago is a city situated in the northern region of Okinawa Island within the Okinawa Prefecture of Japan. It serves as a primary municipality in the northern part of the island's geography.
As of December 2012, the city had an estimated population of 61,659 residents. The total land area of Nago is 210.30 km2, resulting in a population density of approximately 293 persons per km2.
