Minami-Alps is a city located in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan. It serves as the prefecture's third largest city, covering a total area of 264.14 square kilometres (101.99 sq mi). As of June 1, 2019, the city had an estimated population of 71,618 residents across 27,956 households, resulting in a population density of approximately 270 persons per km2.

The name Minami-Alps was officially chosen in September 2002 from various entries submitted by the general public. The city is situated within the Yamanashi region and maintains its distinct identity as a significant administrative and residential hub in the prefecture.
