Yonago is a city located in the western region of Tottori Prefecture in Japan. It serves as a primary commercial center for the western portion of the prefecture and ranks as its second-largest city, following Tottori.
As of December 31, 2021, the city encompassed a total area of 132.42 square kilometres (51.13 sq mi) with an estimated population of 146,139 residing in 68,534 households. The population density of the city is approximately 1,100 persons per square kilometre.
