Toshima is a special ward located within the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. It serves as one of the eight central wards that comprise the Tokyo Metropolitan area.
Situated in the northern region of the city, Toshima is bordered by the wards of Nerima, Itabashi, and Kita to its north. To the south, it shares borders with the wards of Nakano, Shinjuku, and Bunkyo.
