Itabashi is a special ward located within the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. While it is often referred to as Itabashi City in English, it functions as an administrative division of the capital region.
The ward maintains international sister-city relations with several locations outside of Japan. These include Burlington, Ontario, in Canada; the Shijingshan District of Beijing in the People's Republic of China; and Bologna, Italy.
