Asakusa

Asakusa is a district located in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. It is a prominent area within the city known for its cultural significance and historical landmarks.

The district is primarily recognized for housing Sensō-ji, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon. In addition to this major site, Asakusa contains several other temples and hosts various traditional festivals, most notably the Sanja Matsuri.
