Akishima is a city situated in the western portion of the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. It covers a total land area of 17.34 square kilometres, which is approximately equivalent to 6.70 square miles.
As of April 1, 2021, the city had an estimated population of 113,542 residents. This results in a population density of approximately 6,500 persons per square kilometre.
