Gotemba is a city located in the Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan. It is situated on the southeastern flank of Mount Fuji, covering a total area of 194.90 square kilometres (75.25 sq mi).
As of June 30, 2019, the city had an estimated population of 88,370 residents living in 36,096 households. The population density of the area is approximately 450 persons per square kilometre.
