Iwatsuki-ku is one of the ten wards located in the northeastern part of Saitama City, situated within the Saitama Prefecture of Japan. It serves as a distinct administrative division within the larger municipal structure of the city.
As of March 1, 2021, the ward had an estimated population of 112,862 residents. The area covers a total of 49.17 square kilometres (approximately 18.98 square miles) with a recorded population density of 2,300 persons per square kilometre.
