Sayama is a city located in the Saitama Prefecture of Japan. As of January 1, 2021, the city had an estimated population of 149,826 residents living in 69,859 households.
The city covers a total area of 45.51 square kilometres (17.57 sq mi) and maintains a population density of approximately 3,100 persons per km².
