Kanoya is a city located in the Kagoshima Prefecture of Japan. As of March 1, 2024, the city has an estimated population of 98,367 residents living in 46,114 households. It maintains a population density of approximately 100 persons per square kilometer across a total area of 448.15 km² (173.03 sq mi).
The city is popularly known by the nickname "Town of Roses."
